Today was a relatively easy day, we had a trip that was flat all the way.
In the morning we packed our bags and replaced my brake pads. We then headed towards the car wash to clean our bikes :0. We also replaced my rear wheel as the protective layer was showing. We then got back on course and headed towards the Danube. We found a water fountain which said "keine trinkwasser" being Aussies who speak little German thought it meant "clean drinking water", well a German lady knew otherwise and was telling us not to drink the water as "keine" means "no". She then pointed us towards another drinking fountain and we filled up our drink bottles, no problem.
We got back onto the Danube and headed towards Dillingen. At one point we became lost and a man said that the grass is not cut and that we probably wouldn't make it through. We didn't take his advice and we went through dense uncut forest. We then came to a tree stump which we assumed fell over in a big storm a few weeks ago. We made our way out and found a a5 laminated piece of paper telling us where to go. We rode for a few kilometres where we stopped at a café. We met a couple from the United States of America. They were doing the same trip we were doing except skipping all the hills:) Dad got a bread roll with sausages and mustard and I accidentally ordered banana bread with chocolate icing.
We then headed towards dillingen, where dad bought a tarp. and I checked out the map. Since most of the trip tomorrow would be on a busy road, I suggested that we caught a train and miss a day ride. We left on a train and went fifty k's NW. We arrived at Donauwörth, found our way to the campsite and pitched our tent. Dinner was alright and the location is alright as well.
Hope you all are having a great time in Australia and stay fresh

Looks like I can order the watch now - doesn't mean you'll get it unless you keep it up! Thankyou Lachlan, I enjoyed the post very much, especially the chocolate iced banana bread - eeww! Glad you've got your bike back in tip-top shape and that you chose not to ride on a busy road - good decision. The cloud reflection photo was very picturesque - you or Dad?? Have you had a good schnitzel yet??? Been busy at home, been wheeling and dealing with tradies all week, looking forward to Tassie very much! Don't think I'll do a blog, probs just FB posts. Check it out when you can. 2 sleeps to go for us!! Look out Salamanca markets - here we come!!
